We can conduct safe face to face valuations again!

We may all be following social distancing rules under the coronavirus lockdown but that does not mean your property search or home sale is completely on hold.

The housing market in Wales partially reopened from the 22nd of June and that includes valuations and marketing!
Property valuations and inspections are allowed provided they are done in line with social distancing measures.

Mark Drakeford, first minister of Wales, said: “The threat of coronavirus hasn’t gone away but thanks to the efforts we have all made over the last few months, the number of people contracting coronavirus each day in Wales is falling, so too is the risk of meeting somebody with virus.

“Given the progress we have made, we are able to take some additional cautious steps to further unlock our society and economy. This includes more retailers being able re-open their businesses, as long as they take measures to minimise the risk to their staff and to the customers who visit their stores."

Unprecedented times - but temporary

Although the property market was at a halt, we must remember that Covid-19 is temporary and we will recover.

We may even see the market recover with first-time buyers who realise they need their own space after being locked down with family or flatmates.

People have extra time to sit and trawl through our website. They may think about a move they have not had the time to consider before and some may even spend the time considering investment opportunities in the market.

Whether you are just curious or thinking of moving in the next few months we can come out to you and provide you with an accurate valuation.
